Potential Driving Instructor

Become a Driving Instructor

It’s a fact! There are now more cars on the roads than ever before and the numbers are increasing. Combine this with the number of people who need to learn to drive them.  With driving regulations becoming ever more complicated and driving tests more difficult to pass, there is a continuous demand for qualified driving instructors and the role is becoming more varied.

This demand could present you with the opportunity to begin a new career as an ADI, an Approved Driving Instructor, and to start your own business – either independently, or if you prefer the security of a well-established franchise, with YES!® Driving School.

Driving instruction is not only financially rewarding, it also offers a number of employment options. Whether full or part-time, working as an ADI provides independence, flexible working hours, and above all, a degree of security that most other careers cannot offer.

Qualifying as a Driving Instructor

Showing the smile of success is Mark (right) who had just qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor, pictured with our Instructor Trainer, Pete.

After all, YES!® Driving School started trading at the peak of the recession and has been going from strength to strength ever since! Being an ADI also provides job satisfaction, particularly after your pupils have passed their driving test largely due to your ability as an instructor.

We are about to resume lessons!

The Govt and DVSA have given the green light for driving lessons to resume from the 4th of July.

Current pupils should contact their instructors, if they haven’t already been contacted, to confirm their next lesson.

New pupils should hit the BOOK NOW button and one of the team will contact you.

Mouth coverings may be worn with agreement between instructor and learner. Your instructor will provide a hand sanitiser and you are encouraged to keep your window open or keep air circulation high.

The car will be sanitised before and after each lesson.
